Love Affair With Sugar

Over the past 2 hundred years, Americans have fallen hard for sugar. And the results are hurting us. Eating added sugars makes you gain weight. It triggers your body to store fat in your belly. It bypasses your natural hormonal “I’m full” system and ports you to overeat. It tricks your brain into thinking you are hungry for MORE. And it leads to heart disease and diabetes.

The Amount of sugar the average American eats each year:

  • 1820 = 5pounds
  • 1900 = 50pounds
  • 1950 = 100pounds
  • 1999 = 110pounds
  • 2000 = 150pounds
