Stretching Tips

Posted on Updated on

Hold the stretch for 10 to 30 seconds at the point of tightness. Relax into the stretch; don’t push into it. Breathe and release.

Remember that we all have our own level of flexibility. Stretching is not about imitating the person next to you who can fold in sixths like an origami crane. Stretching is about feeling your way to the places where your muscles have sensation without causing injury.
