What is the range of servings for each major food group for the day?

 

  1. Grain Group (6-11 servings) including bread, cereals, rice and pasta
  2. Fruit Group (2-4 servings) including vitamins, carbohydrates
  3. Vegetable Group (3-5 servings) including vitamins, fiber
  4. Meat Group (2-3 servings) primarily protein
  5. Milk Group (2-3 servings) primarily protein
  6. Fats, Oils, and Sweets (use sparingly)
